Viva Korea!
well hello there!
Me and the Nickster, we’re coasting along, having recently finished our graduation performances. Mine went over without a glitch, and the kids, dressed in outrageous costumes and speaking adult North American sentences (minus the comprehension) had the parents uncontrollably tickled. Immediately following the last feigned-smile photograph, as the graduation banner began drooping and spitting out tacks, I felt like a hundred pound weight was lifted from my shoulders. Although I’ve been extremely well behaved lately, I let my hair down that night, every two-inch strand. Our director took us out for perhaps the best Korean spread I’ve ever been to, and then we went to U2 for some suds. Nic wasn’t feeling well, unfortunately, but I did my best to drink for both of us. Honestly! I’ve been a goddamned saint lately. Well, our health seems to be in steady decline since our return from the southeast. Actually, I’m currently bouncing back from a month long nine-phase virus of some indeterminable variety, and Nicole still coughs and sputters along in about phase 6 of the same.
Now check this pic out. To whomever you guys are below, I’m kind of sorry to publish you, but this is a pretty priceless capture…

That was taken at about noon on a Sunday. Big night, guys?
The following pics come from a Sunday trip to Nampodong that I took with my dongsaeng (little brother) Adam. The following two were taken from the top of Busan tower. I also did some HDR photos from the same vantage point, and they can be viewed here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stevenhorr/393724564/in/set-72157594506419728/, and here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stevenhorr/386587890/in/set-72157594506419728/ .

And then just general downtown Busan weirdness to follow:

Above: they eat these suckers live here, sometimes.

The lady above wanted to punch me.

The above is my fave shot of the day.

It’s the year of the pig, and Adam, for one, is pretty pumped about it.
And now, a few last pictures of Nic, myself, and our kindergarten kids.

Yeah, see you next time, kidlets! You won’t be seeing these creatures again. Bring on the next brood.
CHEERS,
